CONSTITUTION II

PREAMBLE

The State of Art is founded for the purpose of providing visual artists, their relatives, and their friends with a natural environment to create art, contemplate life, or do nothing, free of government corruption, waste, fraud and self-serving interests.

We, the founders of The State of Art, in order to form a better environment for the visual arts, establish democracy, insure interesting ideas, and secure the blessings of liberty, do ordain and establish this Constitution for The State of Art.

Visitors and residents will be on their honor and cognizance to be responsible citizens and to abide by the articles of the constitution.

ARTICLE ONE

The State of Art will be free of government, taxes and services.

ARTICLE TWO

The right of artists to be secure in their persons, tents, vans, papers, and effects, against searches and seizures by federal agents shall not be violated.

ARTICLE THREE

The State of Art will be an environment without businesses, utilities, motor homes and house trailers.

ARTICLE FOUR

Visitors to The State of Art must bring their own food, water, shelter, chemical toilets and take out their own trash.

ARTICLE SIX

The State of Art will be located along the stateline between the towns of Kanab, Utah and Fredonia, Arizona off Highway 89A.
