| The Great State of Art | ||||||||||||||||||||
|
We hold these truths to be self-evident & obvious, that all visual artists are created equal, that they should be endowed with certain unalienable rights to share their ideas with others, free of political, social & economic corruption. In order for these rights to be realized, it will be necessary for the U.S. Government and the States of Utah and Arizona to donate a reasonable amount of public lands for these purposes. We, therefore, unofficial representatives of independent visual artists, solemnly declare the fifty-first state of our union......The State of Art And for the support of this declaration, we
mutually pledge our lives, our fortunes and our honor.
